June 4, 201213 yr Not a Gap Outlet! "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
June 4, 201213 yr The house with the the left facing and right facing Swastika's , very interesting find (two pics after the Gap outlet). I know the right facing is a Hindu symbol, but to have the mirrored left facing, truly a story behind that. I wonder when the house was built and were it's owner aware of the symbolism. If pre-World -War !!, i wonder what reaction it caused. :|
June 4, 201213 yr The Nazi swastika is different in that it is tilted...... i.e. more like a diamond than a square. Great shots as always NorthAndre
June 7, 201213 yr THis building... ...looks like one a bit further north on Milwaukee, up at Six Corners.....(Milwaukee/Cicero/Irving Park Rd)
June 9, 201213 yr Big fan of Logan Square, especially Longman Eagle for brunch. ...and hipster sightings are a draw there. On Sunday I saw this dude there in tight short shorts, a tucked-in button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and a face scowling with pretension. And then you look at this Amazon next to him and....well....it beats skinny jeans and a man scarf.
June 9, 201213 yr Thanks for the comments all! Yeah tons of hipsters there though I was surprised by the number of families also. People were barbecuing along the boulevards. It was a cool sight.
