Ive always wanted someone to do a photo thread of this. I was going to, but never got around to it, so thanks!

 

Also it looks nice at night. They have lights on all the trees year round.

I did one in 2004.  I don't know what happened to the thread.  Actually, I don't even know if I have the pictures anymore.

 

Ink's thread covers the downtown commercial strip better, but I did also take some pics of some of the surrounding housing.

Looks like a solid, prosperous downtown

 

It's a suburb, so it benefits from having McMansions surrounding it, although there is a decent sized older neighborhood in between.

My aunt used to live in one of those buildings and I remember walking up stairs in that three story building on the left side of this picture. There was a large ballroom that took up the whole floor if I remember correctly. Looked as if it hasn't been used in years. It was a very cool place. I think it is still empty today, and I think the door is always unlocked, so its not that hard to check it out.
