Posted June 26, 201212 yr I've noticed several times that forumers have had trouble posting a certain "D-word" in this forum. A "D-Word" that was the last name of a gentleman named Walt who opened a Land where you would go to meet Mickey Mouse. Is there any reason in particular that this man and his company may not be mentioned here? Or is it some kind of bug?
June 26, 201212 yr that's interesting. I had that same trouble posting the name of a legendary circus entrepeneur starting with the letter "R" and ending in "ling" some time ago when commenting on a thread about Florida (goes with "Barnum & Bailey"). I still never understood that :wtf: :wtf: http://www.mainstreetpainesville.org/
June 26, 201212 yr Spam. There was a run of spam comments and links for some event and circuses, and I guess it was added to the ban list as a result.
June 26, 201212 yr Walt Disney's Ringling Brothers Circus is coming to Ohio! Boo, it used to say "BANNED WORD" and now it filters to nothing.
June 26, 201212 yr I'm curious what "D-word" I was supposed to be thinking of. None that come to mind are all that offensive.
June 28, 201212 yr I'm curious what "D-word" I was supposed to be thinking of. None that come to mind are all that offensive. REALLY??? I can think of at least a dozen words starting with "D" which you might find them quite offensive. ding dong OK, make that a dozen + 1. June 28, 201212 yr I know a guy in NKY who married a D person. It'd be kinda weird to try to join the forum & find your family name banned. Apparently the Akron Beacon Journal bans 61 variants of the F word.
August 26, 201311 yr It's funny, you can post pictures of D buildings, D World, D Land but not say the word. It's like not being able to discuss sex but being able to post porn.
