Jefferson City, the capital of Missouri.

A small city, but they have more than 500,000 people if you count in base 6.

Glad to see. Thanks for sharing.

Are you going for 50 state capitals?

^He has to be. I'm sure he will beat me to the punch like the county seats.

Great pics. Not to incite any Border War, but my thoughts were, "Wow, beats the crap out of Topeka.."

very nice, but not much there considering its a state capitol?

Seems okay.

Looks like an attractive, pleasant place with good historic bones.

Not all state capitals are large metro centers, nor do all of them have an abundance of urban grit. Consider Dover, Delaware and Montpelier, Vermont, for starters.

I believe Cbus is the 3rd largest state capitol?? Just sayin...

I just recently drove thru this city on my way to the Ozarks and was pretty shocked at the amount of people and buildings they had downtown (I was thinking small town) I didn't take a tour or anything but great pics!

Looks stately and kinda quiet with a small town feel: nice to see some peds out and about. As far as Topeka, I think even locals ackowledge how drab of a city/state capital it is.
