Posted September 6, 201212 yr Annapolis, unfortunately the capital of Maryland. I had high expectations of this place. After hearing good things about it, noticing it is between two awesome cities and one of my favorite estuaries, knowing they have an intact downtown or whatever...something was just mediocre about it to me. Perhaps it is because colonial georgian architecture doesn't do much for me, or maybe because I just have become too jaded to be impressed with a place as small as this. The post office is nice though. Congratulations Annapolis, if you were a county seat in Ohio, you would be in my top 75 almost assuredly. Now it is time to fire cannons at you until you change the capital to Baltimore. If you must keep thatstyle of architecture, this Baltimore building should be good enough. Balitmore has good buildings. Well, most of them at least. According to locals, this is the real Washington monument, not that silly thing in D.C. At this point, I have no idea what is happening anymore. I'm shall now go swimming for an extended duration. Hi, HI. I did not wish to spend too much time taking pictures here, my time was short and didn't bring my camera. Hi, HI capitol. Bye, HI.
September 6, 201212 yr Annapolis is too sterile, if that's what you're trying to put your finger on something. It's a nice little city but that's about it. And clearly, it's no competition for Honolulu ;). "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
