I visited the city of Grand Rapids, Michigan for the first time ever in early September 2012. It is the second largest city in Michigan with about 200,000 people and a metro of over 1,000,000.

I took these photos mainly of downtown and the city on a cloudy Saturday afternoon.

Hope you enjoyed the tour! Thanks for viewing!

I was quite impressed with Grand Rapids. There are some really neat neighborhoods in the downtown vicinity.

Very nice.

I was impressed with Grand Rapids, too. I'll be visiting there again later this month. I will try and make it to Heritage Hill, which I have seen is very nice!

Lookin' sharp.

That one is nice...as well as Old East End, East Hills, Eastown and East Grand Rapids all have neat areas as well.

One of my favorite cities and it seems like a great place to live. You can't go wrong with Grand Haven so close to you!

great tour -- it's really an admirable the locals continue to love the place and make it better!
