January 10, 201312 yr ^Of the major cities I toured (Butte, Billings, Helena, Great Falls), I would agree. I also loved Butte, but the city is basically the Wheeling of Montana (incredible architecture, but lacking life).
January 10, 201312 yr Missoula is the city in Montana with the gentlest climate, or least frightful, depending on how you look at it. Great photography! I love that art deco office block. Those lodge halls and the courthouse are hard to beat.
