The jabs aren't consistent. The ones for Columbus are real specific like homage and jenis, then to try to drag the the rest of the state into it, there are just broad jabs that are sorta played.
January 24, 201312 yr I don't understand the "black squirrels at kent state" reference :wtf: http://www.mainstreetpainesville.org/
January 24, 201312 yr If I recall correctly, all the squirrels in Kent State (and surrounding areas) are black as a result of a handful being imported in the 60s. They're sometimes more aggressive than native squirrels.
January 25, 201312 yr I've seen black squirrels in EVD's hood, at Thompkins Square park. I saw no black squirrels on the day I went! http://www.mainstreetpainesville.org/

They're sometimes more aggressive than native squirrels. When I was at Kent in the mid-1990s, they were pretty much confined to the campus and parts of Kent proper. They've since bred and made their way to points south and east toward Youngstown - I've seen squirrels with black bodies and red tails, gray bodies with black tails, you name it. clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
January 25, 201312 yr I'm not a squirrel racist, but I have a strong preference for Ohio's reddish fox squirrels over either the black ones or the uber generic gray ones.

January 25, 201312 yr Have you seen them there before, though? They're there! Nice pic, btw. I guess I have seen them there, but I try to avoid squirrels in general. In New York I just assume most of them are rabid. I'm always shocked when I see tourists (seemingly mostly European) taking photos of them from the sidewalk around Union Square at eye level on the raised lawn with their faces just inches away. Are they crazy?? http://www.mainstreetpainesville.org/
January 25, 201312 yr oh good heavens. i much prefer our timid and sweet eurosquirrelcousins, the british red squirrel. unfortunately, the much more aggressive american squirrels have come over, terrorized and interbred with them. poor mister nutkin. well alrighty then, carry on!

Are they crazy?? They're just rats with fuzzy tails. In the 1980s, the black squirrels were everywhere in Kent. I lived around a bunch oak trees off-campus and they were always running around on our flat roof collecting acorns or chasing each other. Forget sleeping in.
