Posted February 18, 201312 yr I was wondering if any one had any pictures of the old wheeling&lake erie yard in cleveland.(campbell road yard) Im just wondering what it looked like with all the buildings still there. thanks.
February 18, 201312 yr Welcome Porkchop. Have you searched the photographic collections of clevelandmemory.org? There are many pictures of the Wheeling & Lake Erie RR there, although many are of the area affected before, during and after the construction of Cleveland Union Terminal (which has thousands of photos in its collection). But I did a search using the term "Wheeling" and came up with 12 pages of photos, including aerials of the area you're interested in. February 18, 201312 yr I have seen those. Thank you. But I am looking for pics of the buildings that used to be in the yard. like the roundhouse, dormatory and crew room along with any others that may have been located within campbell road yard limits.
