June 29, 20159 yr Cell Phone Pics from late Sunday afternoon (June 28, 2015) Love the verticality in pic 3 with the hotel and terminal tower aligned like that.
July 1, 20159 yr Two from this evening, including a vantage point seldom photographed from -- the Shoreway.... "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
July 1, 20159 yr Think of how much cooler that view from the shoreway will be with the NuCLEus tower and the tower above the 515 Euclid garage!
July 1, 20159 yr Think of how much cooler that view from the shoreway will be with the NuCLEus tower and the tower above the 515 Euclid garage! Anyone want to amuse all of us by photoshopping those in?

July 2, 20159 yr It's not from the Shoreway, but this it looks pretty nice from the lake! Wow from this angle the last remaining large gap seems to be between the BP building and the Terminal Tower. If something of height got built, say that wild Ferrari tower proposed like a year ago, then the skyline wold fill out nicely. Either way looking good!
July 2, 20159 yr Wow ^ that is the first time I have ever seen the Federal Building appear just like the rendering.
July 2, 20159 yr Some other perspectives. clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
July 2, 20159 yr In the view from the North Point, you can see a section of the crane being raised, so it was being jumped today or whenever the picture was taken.
July 3, 20159 yr I agree urbanpreppie05. I think it will be an interesting addition no matter the angle of your view. It appears the architects really took to heart the importance of contextual design on such an important site. I think this is without question CooperCarry's best hotel design.
July 3, 20159 yr In the view from the North Point, you can see a section of the crane being raised, so it was being jumped today or whenever the picture was taken. Yep - It was from today. I'll take some more as it goes up and post them. It is a pretty good vantage point.
July 3, 20159 yr HA! Dave, you were there like just a few mins after I was. Those people sitting on the mall were coming up the ramp as I was going down. I sat out there watching them lift that column up and hammer it in. Pretty cool!
July 3, 20159 yr The top of the crane is not visible from any of the earthcam views. Going up!
July 5, 20159 yr view from North Point It "looks" like 2 new buildings are going up in that shot. Nice!
July 6, 20159 yr ^ I would say One Cleveland Center, based upon the height and the angle. Edit: Didn't see Urbanophile[/member] beat me to it
July 6, 20159 yr ^ My guess is One Cleveland Center. Correct! Interesting. That must be a heck of a zoom. Nice pictures.
July 6, 20159 yr Any idea what level the elevator cores are currently at? Can't be much more to go. I'm guessing level 29. 25 floors plus the 4 podium floors. https://www.instagram.com/cle_and_beyond/https://www.instagram.com/jbkaufer/
July 6, 20159 yr Really great pics! It's really interesting to see the sculptural form of this building take shape as the curtain wall is applied.
July 7, 20159 yr Looking a lot shorter than I thought it was going to be if the elevator shaft is at level 29....
July 7, 20159 yr It's height is going to be the same as the Justice Center's. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
July 7, 20159 yr KJP, have they raised the height of the Hilton? The height of the Justice Center is 420', and the Hilton is projected at 374'. In this case, is the 374' a reference only to the central structure that contains the rooms and excludes the uppermost part of the tilted top that appears to have no functional space? If so, this might account for the additional height beyond the published height of 374'. Any thoughts?
July 7, 20159 yr I don't believe it will be as tall as the inJustice Center. There is an angled 'cap' that rises above the top floor of the Hilton, which adds to the height. https://www.instagram.com/cle_and_beyond/https://www.instagram.com/jbkaufer/
July 7, 20159 yr The construction schedule estimated that the building would be topping off in September (I only remember because it was estimated to top off on my birthday). So, surely they're still going to be adding some height in the next two months.
July 7, 20159 yr I never realized what a hulking structure the Justice Center is until the Hilton project started. Next to the Justice Center, the Hilton looks downright dainty!
July 7, 20159 yr Agreed jborger. The heavy concrete, Brutalist design of the Justice Center seems to assault the senses when compared to the light, glassy design of the Hilton.
July 7, 20159 yr I think I know where they got their inspiration for the Justice Center.... "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
July 20, 20159 yr Where did those come from, all of a sudden?!?! "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
July 20, 20159 yr Where did those come from, all of a sudden?!?! They totally cranked them out Sunday morning from about 8 am to Noon!
July 21, 20159 yr Popping up in the skyline - from this morning in Tremont (Abbey Avenue). clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
July 21, 20159 yr I agree with you Paul. It's a great study in shape, texture an reflectivity. These are fantastic pics!
July 23, 20159 yr Walking around downtown today, during a perfect Summer day, and a great lunch at Walnut Wednesday, I was struck by what a slim and sleek profile the Hilton presents...From my office view on East 12th, the Hilton looks like just another high rise. Once on the street and closer, things change - This is a very slim glass tower, unlike anything else in Cleveland...
