Posted February 5, 200619 yr i grabbed the camera on my way out the door while heading out to see my (ex-clevelander) pal in brooklyn. no classy brownstones out here. just a typical backyard of typical working class & mostly wood/aluminum siding style house blocks. note how the houses are individual, but there is no gap between them. if you wondered the nabe is the south slope/gowanus. from the backyard looking back at the house later on, we saw a dog on a bar thats a good boy! if you get bored just spin the cell phone trippy the mandatory checked loo tile pretty ho hum today, so time to go home note the used platform in the foreground and filthy loooong unused one across the track looks like my ride is coming, smell ya later brooklyn
February 5, 200619 yr where in BK? I don't recognize that part of 4th Avenue, especially if you got on or off the train at Hoyt-Schermerhorn. I used to live on State Street, when I lived in Downtown Brooklyn, and I remember the MTA cutting down the HS (& Bergen St.) stations and adding the Police Station. Its half of its former Glory and harder to navigate. Although its cool to see them change out trains from the transit museum which is the next stop, yet no longer used. Michael Jackson's "bad" video was filmed in the H-S station.
February 6, 200619 yr ^so was "the warriors" (even tho they tried to say it was up in the bronx-heh). mts the reason yr confused is because i got dropped off at h-s station at the end of the night. those backyards are on 18th & 19th st's bet 4th-5th aves. so south-er! gowanus-y! much less chic! ps -- the doggie bar was on 3rd ave at union.
