Posted July 16, 201311 yr Hazleton, PA -Population ~25,000 -Luzerne County -Proof that not all Pennsylvania cities are fully intact. -Historically a mining city ________________________________ Wilkes-Barre, PA -Luzerne County Seat -Population ~41,000 -Usually listed second with Scranton in a ~500,000 metro area. I'm giving it second billing in the thread to the lowly Hazleton because right in the center of the city they have crosswalks that only change to allow walk if somebody presses the request button…and some of the time those didn't even work.

October 21, 20159 yr Wilkes-Barre, PA This sad gem is gone. Apparently a lot of other Wilkes-Barre architecture is, too. I didn't get to Hazelton, but I got shots of Wilkes-Barre and Scranton over the weekend (and Allentown/Bethlehem, and Binghamton, NY). Hope to post them soon.
