August 8, 201311 yr ^Really I should post a thread of the fashion show photos, if only to hear MTS's commentary!
August 8, 201311 yr Woah! We could call this thread, "Cincinnati: A City in Transition" Pretty much every neighborhood in downtown and uptown has transformational projects happening right now.
August 8, 201311 yr I already miss Waldvogel Viaduct. I don't think they've used enough cement. There's still a few dirt patches yet to be paved.
August 8, 201311 yr So... Is Blake actually an attorney, or is that just his nickname? Without confirmation I wouldn't trust him to handle my legal work despite the boxing gloves that prove he's willing to fight for me. Great photos
August 8, 201311 yr This is the greatest thread of all time. Why? The Budget Host. You actually took a photograph of The Budget Host. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
August 9, 201311 yr >You actually took a photograph of The Budget Host. I've delivered pizzas to The Budget Host after midnight. It's totally wild. It's like a mall of prostitution with pimps managing several rooms each around the courtyard. >rando lives! I also have a recent photo of Grasscat that I should have included.
August 9, 201311 yr Fun Fact: That picture titled Anderson Township is actually mostly Mt. Washington. Mt. Washington is about the bottom 60% of the image.
August 10, 201311 yr Pat yourself on the back, Jake--your "photo-foray" into what's being changed in Cincinnati is deeply appreciated! (Don't be a stranger in keeping everyone updated, okay?)
August 10, 201311 yr ^ I thought it was around rookwood myself. Yes they're across from Rookwood Exchange. I found them interesting because they were probably built by the same guy or company with the idea that he could sell them off individually at some future point. They appear to have been built right before the "plex" business model took over the apartment business in the 60s. I'm sure that switch over was caused by some way in which commercial lending changed (a 4-family can be built or purchased with a typical home loan, anything above 4 is a commercial loan). >Don't be a stranger I've got more from this year, but I'd rather be taking the photos than editing them!
