You guys should check out "Subway". Awesome game and it gets pretty challenging.

Yeah I heard you are a frequent visitor of The Subway on Walnut Street.  I am sure the games you play there are pretty challenging! -CincyImages/MonteCarloSS

I appreciate good wit:

A couple of items, magazines have been doing these lists for years. Harpers was doing them in the 60s and 70s. I imagine the Romans and the Greeks were doing it two thousand years ago. Rome was bad-mouthing Ravenna and that upstart Constantinople.

Regarding Geneva and it's antique clock in the middle of a traffic circle:

Cute town. That town clock would last until the first Saturday night around here, when an unemployed drunk hillbilly in a pickup truck, with no license and no insurance would run it down and then get hung up on the planters and half-destroy them trying to leave the scene.

Fifty-fifty chance he'd then get killed in a shootout with the police after pulling a handgun out from under the seat.

That's hilarious.

^^ Haha yeah it is.

I'm kinda looking forward to Parker Flats during Bengals season, those are my favorite Sundays downtown, its packed everyone is having fun, partying. otherwise I would just move to Mason and listen to crickets and the occasional minivan

Priceless...

There's been some really funny stuff lately in the 2008 Presidential Election Thread while they've been discussing VP picks.

Since Alaska is bordered by Canada and Russia she is said to have foreign policy experience too.  I guess her husband knowing where the twelve mile limit is when he's out on the salmon boat counts?

"Ok if you want me to tell you, I once had a gentleman with CRAP literally LEAKING out of his pants onto my part of the seat of the bus, you can kinda imagine the smell.. Another time, A nice woman in a tank top decided to let her hairy armpits "breathe" and she extended her arms outward behind my seat. I can go on and on but I don't want to gross out the other forumers.  Both of these particular times mentioned. Route 4 to Evanston from Reading Rd."

-Maximillian

I think Randy already quoted that or something similar.

BTW, I'm eating a Chicken Caesar salad right now; thanks!

^^That's a throw back quote by Maximillian...you must have been doing some digging today.

shouldn't this be "crap LITERALLY leaking out of his pants". Was this on the hound or something?

Yes, I'm still digging through the Banks thread and I burst out laughing at work when I read that. I had forgotten how good of a gem it really was!

And to think, I ride the #4 bus line all the time and have yet to experience the glorifying nature of feces leaking out of one's pants. *sigh*

Actually I think I might have had an encounter with that same guy. There are a people who rode the 4 when I did who stunk to high heaven. A mixture of urine and malt liquor. Anyone who has experienced this knows what I'm talking about.

So, quit waiting for someone else to do it.

Our medical campus is bigger than downtown Dayton.

-TheHemroid

Referring to the size of the University of Cincinnati's medical campus in the University of Cincinnati construction projects thread.

I wonder how much of that is sadly true? Or UC's campus in general?

Well, it's about as funny as the old 9/11 schtick of "well, the Twin Towers collapsing was like the entire office space of downtown Cincinnati blah blah."

Sounds like somebody touched a nerve.

  • Author

Nah, not when the downtown the forumer's city is in is the same (physical) size as the one he "touched a nerve with." ;)

Yay, party in the streets of downtown Cincinnati!

(if you can fit)

^I don't get it.

I don't get it either.

not funny.

No, but equally annoying.

It's not annoying...it's just that nobody gets it.

I'm annoyed!

^Do you even get your own joke?

Am I really having to tell people TWO moderators to knock it off and get back on topic in THIS thread?!? :wtf:

I'd like to request the bloody ax picture.  Thanks!

Canada is like an old attic.  You realize it has some neat stuff up there, but after you spend some time up there, you say to yourself, gee, this is pretty dull.

I have a question, do the quotes HAVE TO BE from HERE. I mean, I have a few favorite quotes, but they are not from here.

Well, the thread title is "Favorite Quotes on UrbanOhio", thus implying that these are your favorite quotes already on the UrbanOhio forum. Though I suppose you could read that to mean "I'm posting my Favorite Quotes about Canada on UrbanOhio".

Yay, party in the streets of downtown Cincinnati!

I'm not trying to start anything, and Mayday, please don't ban me for this, but I really just don't understand this comment.  The bolded d, the "if you can fit", etc.  I'm sorry if this is obvious or something but I really don't understand!  Could you please explain what you meant?  If not here (I understand sticking to the topic) then could you PM me what you meant? It has been bugging me now for a little while!

Uncle rob_1412 :  That's one of the few urban issues we forumers might be able to address. You should let us know when you turn 21, so we can schedule a forum meet to remedy the situation.

andrew0816:  Will do, too bad it is three years away. lol

Dropped this to focus more attention on the t-shirt.  This will be sticky'd when we get more responses for the T-Shirt Design.

Make this the last siren thread.  Ever.

"Oh my GOD! Those sirens are VERY close to each other!!!"

I had something to say about ColDayMan, but I'm too wasted right now to remember.

I think I had a lot of "quotes" today at Oktoberfest.

From:  "It's out folks! ... America's top party schools!!!" thread.

C-Dawg Njaim, based on the photoset you posted yesterday, it looks like OU deserves not only its party title, but also, "Most Unattractive Study Body"

btw, LOVE the one of that drunk bitch passed the f*ck out with her heels and her Coach purse hanging off....it's EXCELLENT!

I don't waste time reading c-dawgs comments.  they are rarely useful to me.
