I ran into a historical resource for the Columbus area on Facebook called "Vintage Columbus" both photos and discussion can be found on the page. Looks like BuckeyeB and Magyar have already found it.

Great find.

Great pics, horribly ignorant comments (particularly comments on the photo Shopping Downtown in 1950).  Mostly from old-timers lamenting the passing of the good ol' days and with no idea of current developments or what's happening in downtown Columbus.

Most of them probably don't live here any more. Not many people spend their entire lives in Columbus. Seems like a lot of the comments start out like "What is here now? I live in Florida."

Great find GC80.  I second the comments about the comments.  However, I'm just going on that page for the great old photos, not the comments.

Good stuff. *Like*

Granted, its 6 months after the fact, but thanks of thinking of me. And please say 'Hey' if we cross paths on Facebook, or someplace in real life. :-)
