November 26, 201311 yr Very nice! Makes me miss Chicago! One of my ideal activities, being in a big city, going to an NHL hockey game. It's perfect! Thanks for the pics, NorthAndre!
January 9, 201411 yr I swear you live in the same building as one of the peeps that works for me. That's funny, though I feel like a veteran in this building, I only know a couple people. Almost five years now despite skyrocketing rents. I worked out a deal with my landlord to move to a new unit. Unfortunately it's near the elevators and I've been greatly bothered by the vibrations from the elevators moving by. Might be time for a new place and have been looking around Lincoln Park, or West Lake View around Ashland av.

As a man of color, you know better than that. I do shop at Barney's and eat occasionally at Fred's but that's about it for shopping in the immediate area. Most of the stores on my street I can't pronounce or I just say them the way I think they should be said like. Channel, gucky, and Lewis Vitten. The area has gotten alot more bougie lately and they are going heavy with the wrecking ball to clear out much of the old Chicago and replace it with a global boutique atmosphere. Now our building is getting nicer things which has me a bit on edge. New wood floors and granite countertops. It was nice enough they'd replace the carpet every year, but wood floors is a big deal. Since I've created this thread I'm finding myself more around Lincoln park these days drinking old style and crashing on friend's couches, which is a pretty good sign that I should move if I only spend my weekday nights at home.
February 20, 201411 yr And look how one guy has got a PAPER Macy's bag. He must have spent a lot to get above the cheap plastic bags.
February 26, 201411 yr Wow. I didn't know Macy's had a LV boutique. They've redone the first floor. It's really obnoxiously glitzy now. Preservationists were in an uproar over this http://www.mainstreetpainesville.org/
