I never cared for Hartford but Connecticut is beautiful.  They also have my favorite capitol building.

Agreed. You can tell how much wealth used to exist in Hartford, but unfortunately most of the city proper is in a pretty depressed state. The downtown area is also pretty dead after 5:00. The same can be said for most cities in Connecticut. But the small towns, suburbs, and countryside are all beautiful

Thanks for the great shots!  I have a big soft spot for much of rural/small town CT as well as the shore towns. A very beautiful state, minus some of its scuzzier cities, though even those aren't any worse off than small rust belt cities.
