Posted February 9, 201411 yr Once deteriorated and neglected buildings in Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio are receiving new investments and are being transformed into offices, retail and apartments thanks to the Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credit and mindful owners. For just Cincinnati alone, more than 50 projects and 100 buildings have been awarded more than $70 million in historic tax credits. Those tax credits, covering 25% of qualified rehabilitation expenses, can only be awarded once the work is completed.
