Once deteriorated and neglected buildings in Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio are receiving new investments and are being transformed into offices, retail and apartments thanks to the Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credit and mindful owners. Only in existence since 2006, the state tax credit promotes the rehabilitation of historic structures and compliments a federal historic tax credit program that has been around for twenty years prior. For just Cincinnati alone, more than 50 projects and 100 buildings have been awarded more than $70 million in historic tax credits. Those tax credits, covering 25% of qualified rehabilitation expenses, can only be awarded once the work is completed.

Germania Hall is really a great building.

I've always called that Cosmopolitan Hall.  It's a little confusing with the Germania Building around the corner at 12th and Walnut.  But yes...it's a FANTASTIC building.

Great stuff, Sherman!
