Nearly identical street frontage buildings are all over the place in new Dutch and Scandavian neighborhoods. December 19, 2024Dec 19 Projects OK’d for affordable housing loan, credits By Ken Prendergast / December 19, 2024 In Cleveland, one east-side housing development and one west-side development are set to receive 4-percent Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) from the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA). The agency announced that determination yesterday in a spreadsheet posted on its Web site. A third project won a $1.75 million OHFA loan, OHFA said in a written statement released today. December 20, 2024Dec 20 I know we're not getting sun belt numbers but it does seem to me that the city IS getting a steady little surge of new housing development's. Certainly more than in the past.

This building looks similar to many of the modular apartment buildings that are going up. Hopefully we can attract that modular home developer and build many 15-25 unit buildings like this It looks substantial and anchored to the ground which is a good thing. The right side looks more inviting with what looks like a vehicle entrance and presumably the front entrance. Color is fine but its placement so close the sidewalk likely makes the blank brick walls almost irresistable to our famous graffiti/tagging artists. Otherwise - looks like the scores of others infilling DC gentrifying neighborhoods for years similar to this - but mostly condos (maybe it can be converted at some point).

February 21Feb 21 The La Bamba Bakery Complex building on West 65th received final approval at CPC today. It is about halfway between Clark and Storer across from the old Kmart. The parcel is from the land bank. Facility will include a bakery production facility, warehouse, offices, market and dinning area. The market and "fast casual" Resrutaunt are both new businesses for La Bamba group. They started in Cleveland ~15 years ago off West 25th, but I believe their current production facility is off West 130th.

April 14Apr 14 This is on the corner of w44th and fenwick. B.F. Tyler house, I guess he was an OG developer in Ohio city. This joint has lasted almost 200 years and all the information I could find was it listed under "future projects" for Cleveland Bricks and some zillow listing. Anyone been near the area to know if they're is anything going on or have any info? *I added a screen shot of some records i found in the city database. Not only do i feel like im doing something wrong using the search but after opening the record and even selecting the "record info" button it's all blank.

Came by a month later and that's pretty much what it looked like.
