Posted May 19, 201411 yr Here is some Columbus 2014.The game is we are playing is No downtown, and no High Street. (A comparison to nine years ago)- See it while you still can…………………………
May 19, 201411 yr I really like Columbus' rowhomes, if that's what they're actually referred to as. I wish Cleveland had denser historic housing stock than the big detached homes it has throughout most of the city. Cbus very much embraced the the Midwestern color palette of "beige, brown, and more beige". Thanks for sharing. “To an Ohio resident - wherever he lives - some other part of his state seems unreal.”
May 19, 201411 yr ^Yes, they are rowhomes. Nice shots. The eastside has the best gems in the city, in all honesty. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
May 19, 201411 yr Hopefully in nine years the Yellow Brick Pizza block looks even better; the current rehab looks underfunded.
May 20, 201411 yr I like the way this game is played. You got some great, underappreciated, out-of-the-way stuff. Great shot of that industrial building on 2nd Avenue by the tracks. I was just looking at that a week ago. That part of Italian Village is booming -- not just in residential. There's a lot of potential for clean industry in some of those buildings east of 4th Street.
