So it was about 60 degrees outside today, so I decided to go check out the park!!

Dillion State Park is located about 5 minutes outside of Zanesville in Muskingum County. It consists of a dam and reservoir constructed on the Licking River. For some reason the overlook was closed today, so I couldn't get a shot of the dam

Some scenes of the Lake and beach area (the water level was kind of low today)

New camera? Looking good!

How much does it cost to go to State Parks anymore?

^Still free!  :-D

^I thought you had to buy a $20 to $30 yearly tag. What happened to that?

I don't know what happened to that, but it didn't cost a thing! And no, not a new camera, just a different one.

Maybe they follow the same policy as in Indiana; off season traffic is so light that the gate receipts wouldn't cover the cost of collecting them, so they don't bother. Spring through fall, when more people use the parks, the gate charges apply.

They were planning to implement a fee, but scrapped the idea.  I'm pretty sure there's an old thread on it around here somewhere.

Get more this spring!
