Posted July 17, 201410 yr This is a long shot - but in one of those Ohio History/Old photos books, I swear I've seen photos of historic school swimming pools - and one in particular had these rails/tracks around the ceiling. They'd give the kids harnesses, which would be hooked to wheels that ran along the tracks. It'd keep the little/disabled kids learning to swim going in a circle and keep them from drowning. anyone ever seen this pic? or know what I'm talking about? check out the attached image - you can see a remnant of the track above the pool.
