November 11, 201410 yr I have always meant to visit Meridian. Looks like they may have the second largest downtown in Mississippi.
November 11, 201410 yr yeah i always wanted to do a west to east drive like tyler>vicksburg>jackson>meridian>montgomery>columbus>macon>savannah. and below that a drive along the gulf from houston>panama city. anyway meridian certainly has some interestingly umm, cared for, tall structures. the rest looks like anywhere, usa, but i like it, looks nicely intact. interesting to see this city.

November 12, 201410 yr Am I bad urbanist for thinking that those skyscraper parking garages are kind of cool?
