Posted December 13, 201410 yr Two cities in Miami County, Ohio a short distance north of Dayton. Tipp City has a population of about 10,000 and Troy, the county seat, has a population of about 25,000. I found both to be charming. December 14, 201410 yr Great pictures! Both of those cities seem to be doing quite well. What's Hobart Brothers?
December 14, 201410 yr Great pictures! Both of those cities seem to be doing quite well. What's Hobart Brothers? The manufacture welding products. They had a plant right next to that office building that was being demolished when I was there. Hobart Brothers Manufacturing Building by Eridony, on Flickr You can see that skywalk on the right of this picture that connects to the building seen in my earlier picture.
December 14, 201410 yr Cool, thanks. Too bad that factory is being demolished. It would seem like a good conversion candidate.
December 14, 201410 yr Dayton really does have some nice suburbs. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
December 15, 201410 yr Cool, thanks. Too bad that factory is being demolished. It would seem like a good conversion candidate. I agree, although the manufacturing portion is massive and covers a couple blocks. The office building has been rehabilitated for county offices. The bridge/skywalk that connects the two will be lost with the manufacturing building.
December 15, 201410 yr Dayton really does have some nice suburbs. The small towns surrounding Dayton are really great. I've never been to Troy, but it looks great!
