Posted February 12, 201510 yr A few pictures I took in Beaver and Beaver Falls. Both are located in Beaver County, PA. The first picture is of Beaver Bridge, a railroad bridge that crosses the Ohio River just after the Beaver River joins it. The bridge is just outside the borough limits of Beaver. Almost the entire community is located in a Nation Historic District. Beaver has an old freight station and passenger station that are both owned by the Beaver Area Heritage Foundation. However the population peaked in 1950 at 17,375. Walking through downtown I could tell it used to be a bigger city. Beaver Falls was the setting for the 1980s TV show Mr. Belvedere.
