Winter rocks Cleveland! Trains roll!

 

Red Line trains in Cleveland handle the snow better than the cold. The extreme cold causes overhead electric wires to stretch tight and separate, causing power loss to trains. Also Red Line train brakes don't work very well in the cold so some trains actually overshoot their platforms. A little RTA maintenance would rectify that....

I remember how it would take 45 minutes to get from Tremont to Downtown during a blizzard (also thanks to Innerbelt detours).

 

Definitely go by train if ya can.
