March 20, 201510 yr How often does the river flood? Is it every few years or every couple of decades? I know I saw pictures on here of a major Cincinnati flood in the 90s.
March 20, 201510 yr It reaches flood stage almost every year, but I think the last time the river got this high was in '97, when it reached 65 feet. I think this time it crested at just under 58 ft. I was only a kid in '97, but I remember the flood caused the Children's Museum to close and permanently relocate to Union Terminal.
