April 20, 201510 yr Wow, what a beautiful little city. Thanks so much for posting these photos. Very nice!

April 20, 201510 yr Excellent set, Eridony. I am glad you made it to the college--Wooster has a very nice campus. Wooster was Ohio's first Main Street community; in fact, they were in the running to be one of the first pilots nationally (Deadwood, SD; Galena, IL; and Madison, IN won out, however). The impact the Main Street program has had on their downtown has been phenomenal.
May 19, 201510 yr My brother-in-law's in-laws own the B&B pictured. It is as beautiful inside as it is outside. If you're in the area, highly recommended. Before I stayed there once, I too had low expectations for the area, but it really is a gorgeous town. If I could ever stand to live outside of a larger city, Wooster would be near the top of the list. JAFB is an excellent brewery, too.
May 19, 201510 yr A former roommate of mine went to Wooster when David Bowie's son went there. He said at graduation that David Bowie showed up with Iman in a Lamborghini they rented in Cleveland.
May 20, 201510 yr I recently was traveling from Cincy to Canton for work, and I decided to get off 30 in Wooster to find something to eat. I was pressed for time, so I was looking for fast food or something with a drive through, and I was shocked to find that not one place to stop in the whole town! I didn't make it up to where the university is, but I made a couple of loops through town and couldn't find anything. The town looked decent, but it was way smaller than I imagined from viewing this photo set.

If you didn't know where they were they wouldn't be too obvious to find, I suppose.
May 21, 201510 yr Incredible shots. Almost too perfect. I always wondered: is "Wooster" a phonetic replacement for "Worcester"?
May 21, 201510 yr Incredible shots. Almost too perfect. I always wondered: is "Wooster" a phonetic replacement for "Worcester"? Actually there was a general named Wooster for whom the town is named. That's why the high school nickname is the "Generals." Then again, maybe his ancestors were "Worcester." edit - found this cool article http://web.cortland.edu/woosterk/locher.html
December 5, 20213 yr Bump. Drove thru Wooster this past weekend and had lunch. I was super impressed with the town and College.
