You're.  Kidding.

Akron being Akron.

I'm just surprised the man's name is "Garry Moneypenny."  Wowzers.

^what did he actually do?  And why did the previous mayor resign so abruptly after being in power for so long---making him unable to complete his current term?

1. groped a co-worker

2. had local newspaper hurt his feelings

^#1 may be true, but there's gotta be far more to #2 than what you wrote (and what he is saying publicly).

Agreed. It's intriguing. Maybe Scene will get to the bottom of it. Otherwise, it will just be another ridiculous event with Akron politics that the general public never hears about.

I do love his name!

I guess this is why they call us the Rub Her City.

Akron is looking less and less like a midsize American city and more like an ungovernable 'banana republic'. This is complete madness, and its starting to get national attention.

Tell me about it... That name alone makes me suspicious of him.

"Get rid of that Plusquellic and bring in Moneypenny!"

They should have tased him.

Which would have converted the situation from a drunk old man against a tree with his fly down to an unconscious old man lying on the ground without the tree blocking the view of anything, still with his fly down.
