^It's worth pointing out that there really isn't that much space within Cincinnati city limits for a ton of residents inside the city limits in single-family homes.  

 

Back in 1950 a single-family home typically had 4+ people living in it whereas it's more like 2.5 now.  So even if every single-family house that once stood inside the city limits were rebuilt, realistically the same population would not reside there.  

 

I don't know how many vacant single-family lots there are in Cincinnati, but it might be 25,000.  However, many of those lots are on odd pieces of hilly land, like Hillside Ave. out past Sedamsville or South/North Fairmount.
