Posted September 1, 20159 yr Yet another random assemblage of photos from here and there, taken in August: Redevelopment of Public Square is taking shape: Over to the eastern CBD: Quick clip from the Shoreway Did someone say observation... deck? Figured I'd head up to the Terminal Tower observation deck with the new-ish lens: Can't wait until the Scranton Flats trail connects to University Road - trail + Sokolowski's University Inn = pierogis and carb burning all in one! :-) Yuck. In 1988, this building was home to the Rescue Mission and I was doling out soup to those in need. Now the residential units in it are being rented for thousands of dollars for the RNC... who'da thunk?!? The 9 (former Cleveland Trust Tower) cleans up rather nicely: The much-maligned University Square shopping center in the distance: The deservedly beloved Shaker Square neighborhood in the distance: The Cleveland Thermal Plant - not long for this world: Downtown Lakewood in the center, steel mills in Lorain on the horizon: Alright, back down to earth with a pic of the ArtCraft Building: And skyline views from the Innerbelt: The construction on the Hilton started to get interesting with this section jutting out: En route to checking out the Flats East Bank: There's still work to be done but I think it will be really impressive once it's built-out. Getting glassy on Lakeside: Let's wrap it up from the eastern CBD: Hope you enjoyed! clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram

September 4, 20159 yr Yuck indeed! Although the former "second" yuck (FEB) in that picture has filled that "hole" in rather nicely. That is quite a lens you have there. Very nice!
September 4, 20159 yr Didn't know they were replacing all the copper on the roof of the Drury Hotel. Expensive replacement for sure.
