November 23, 20159 yr I loved all of those pictures! My favorites (randomly) are the doggies by Settler's landing, and the guy holding the lamp next to the GE Chandelier I currently live in a city called "NOLA" I like the idea of calling Cleveland "CLEOH"
November 23, 20159 yr Great set! I love all of the unique views. It was sad to see the Steve's Lunch pictures though, as well as the building in picture above, which we also lost to a fire this year :(
November 23, 20159 yr Great tour. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
November 23, 20159 yr ^Very interesting take on C-Town; nicely done... Yeah, seeing a "healthy" Steve's Lunch, in their recently renovated historic building, is painful now... And while I love me some WSM, sometimes viewing their vendor's raw meat prep makes me want to become a vegetarian.

November 23, 20159 yr What a tremendous photo thread. Thanks for showing the wide varieties of life in my city. I take it you work in the construction industry? I see you took some photos in some buildings under renovation or rumored to be (ie: Watermark). November 23, 20159 yr I currently live in a city called "NOLA" I like the idea of calling Cleveland "CLEOH" CLE-OH. Kind of has a ring to it. I am still outspoken in the thought that the casinos should have been built in the Flats during its heyday, and open containers allowed within the entertainment district.

I'm not sure I can get behind that nickname. It just reminds me of this:

Lorain Ave has sure taken its hits in terms of historic buildings lost to fires and demolitions in recent, like the building demolished at W. 58th in the antiques area. Not good for a street already pockmarked with a zillion used car lots.
