Posted May 20, 20169 yr Youngstown has made a bid for locating the George Lucas (Star Wars) Museum here in downtown Youngstown.
May 20, 20169 yr Hmmm.... So has San Francisco. They now want to located it on Treasure Island. Something tells me SF would win...
May 20, 20169 yr I also hold out little hope that we could get anything that big here, and where the city would want to locate it would present problems both with parking and getting to it. Mind you I love Youngstown but I'm also realistic and this is just too big to be within our reach.
May 20, 20169 yr Doesn't hurt to try and I'm glad they are. Warner Bros began in Youngstown, kind of, so there's an angle.

July 11, 20168 yr Isn't this page for "Projects", and wouldn't a new museum a "project"? Also it is for "Abandoned projects", and wouldn't the failure of the city fit? If it doesn't fit here, where should it have been put.
