Could anyone help me? I'm looking for photos of Ohio radio and television station photographs especially interior shots both vintage and current. I'm not interested in ads but only real photographs.

Thank you. Found 3 to add to my collection. I sure would love to have a record collection as big as theirs.

WKBN is Youngstown's oldest radio and television, but the two are under different ownership at different locations.

It's looking like Cincinnati's Riverfest fireworks won't be on TV this year. It's so bizarre how the fireworks have bounced around between different local TV stations and occasionally, every couple of years, none of them decide it's worth it to air the fireworks.

I've watched a few broadcasts before. Usually due to being out of town.  It doesn't translate well, and I'm sure they can charge more for advertising if they aired a rerun of a popular show instead.

The event itself is rather unremarkable anymore.  Same old same old. I'd say it peaked in the  late 90's to early 2000's.  The most remarkable thing about it, is how many people actually go to see them.

They need some innovation.

They eliminated alcohol at some point around 1995 and then the second barge and the 100% rock & roll soundtrack around 2005.

I recall in the 1980s and 90s that they pretty much just played the soundtrack songs straight through.  Now it's a mash-up of Disney stuff.  90 seconds of each dreadful song at most.
