With warmer weather finally coming to the north coast, how about another Cle UO meetup? This time I'm thinking an early evening or weekend happy hour type meet up at one of our local breweries? Thoughts?

I haven't been to Platform in awhile...

I'm new to UO but if I could I would suggest Forest City Brewery in Duck Island - they are due to open officially in early June, and could use an event or two.

Perhaps we could do both a lunch meetup as well as an early evening/weekend event?

another fun venue I'd love to hit is Sunset Grill at Whiskey Island.  They have new management (again) this year and it's got a really good vibe.  It's not a brewery though

Cleveland Scene's Summer Fest (Taste of Summer) is this weekend in Flats East Bank.

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial kickoff to summer and Taste of Summer is the perfect opportunity for people to get outside and enjoy the weather.

This event will feature food, local music, craft cocktails, beer, local vendors, a bounce house, obstacle course, corn hole, giant Jenga, Connect 4 and Operation, volleyball and many more activities for all ages.

I might stop by after work today, and then bring the whole family there on Saturday.

So, this kind of died out, sorry about that. I think doing both a happy hour and lunch meetup isn't a bad idea. That way it allows more people to participate.

 

As for an evening meetup, I like the idea of Platform. They have good patio space, it's reasonably accessible, and they have more consistent hours. I think the Doodle worked well last time, so I created another one with some dates in a few weeks.
