Posted June 24, 20168 yr I'm sure everyone has amazing pictures from the parade so I thought I would share mine. Despite the crowds and chaos I am so glad I went! It was amazing. I started the day at the office on the 30th floor: Our plan was to head to the rally but once we got onto the street it was clear we were not moving. Probably for the best because it ended up being a great spot. After hours of waiting we finally got the parade down to our end of East Ninth. I gotta say overall everyone was just patient and enjoying the moment. For that many people there were very few complaints. Dan Gilbert & family: Coach Lue was next: J.R. was the first player we saw and he was loving the moment! Kyrie: The crowd of course was waiting for Lebron and by the time he got to us he was too tired to keep standing up... haha but I got a few shots thankfully: After Lebron passed us, a lot of people took off and we squeezed our way right up to the front. This was the best part of the whole thing. I got to see the rest of the players right up close and even got a high-five from Delly! Channing & RJ: Kevin: Shump & his family & his hair: Delly was loving the crowd and they were loving him: Tristan: Mo Williams! Dahntay Jones: There you go! Crazy crazy amazing day.
June 24, 20168 yr Great up-close-n-personal pics! Mine were more city-based, posted here: http://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php/topic,4547.msg807696.html#msg807696 "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
June 25, 20168 yr Teyana should've kept that baby at home. Great shots! "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
June 26, 20168 yr Folks must be cavs out as I could imagine. There are a lot of great shots in this thread but few replies? Nice!
June 26, 20168 yr We watched the parade from the atrium of One Cleveland Center. We found a spot next to the window and the white truss acted as a barrier so we had plenty of room. I'll never get tired of how blue the Hilton's glass is, and I'll never get tired of these awesome photos of 1.3 million people coming together in Cleveland.
June 27, 20168 yr While it may not be up close and personal, this is a great aerial video of downtown Cleveland and the Cavs celebration.
