None of the new buildings are anything exciting architecturally, but the differences between these areas from 8 years ago, when I lived there, to now are crazy. Hopefully it all comes together like they plan, and they can continue to build the downtown

Neighbors are concerned that developers are leaving out important details within the project.The private-public project was announced just under one year ago. Destined to overtake the former downtown Pepsi plant, it will include two public buildings, “The Treehouse” and “The Boathouse,” and one private building, “The Canopy.”City Redevelopment Director Alec Johnson said, “The Treehouse” is still under development, meaning no potential use is confirmed. One option for the building would be to use it as a public, rentable space programmed by the parks department.
