Posted October 31, 20168 yr Over a year ago I went to Seattle for a little vacation and I'm finally posting the pictures I took while I was there. I'm sure a lot has changed since I was there last year, but I had a wonderful time and really loved the city and wanted to share some of the photos from my trip. Part 1 Part 2 Part 3
October 31, 20168 yr I went to Pesos (in that last photo) a couple of weeks ago. Decent food, terrible service. The best part was the interior (and the neighborhood). Thanks for that! October 31, 20168 yr UGGGGG, I WANT TO MOVE THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A friend of mine just retired and bought a mansion along Lake Washington. Maybe I can be his kids' manny.
October 31, 20168 yr -Nice tour of the central area -It is a nice (and expensive) city and the summers definitely have a lot of sunny days, but that's all made up for during fall and winter. Non-stop cloudiness and drizzle. See attached for how lovely it is today :)
October 31, 20168 yr Nice! What a vibrant looking place. And a sea plane! It seems like at least one sea plane takes off or lands about every half hour in that area. It's pretty startling when you first hear a plane there, since you're wondering where the airport is.
November 1, 20168 yr ColDayMan[/member] - I thought about going there but then decided against it. I ended up going to Dick's down the street surfohio[/member] - Incredibly vibrant, highly recommend visiting TBideon[/member] - Me too! If only I could live in Cleveland and Seattle. And jking222222[/member] not much different than Cleveland then, minus the cost difference. jmecklenborg[/member] - Think I was there at the right time...saw the plane before it took off so wasn't taken by surprise.

My office sits very close to the lake and is directly in one of the paths the seaplanes take to land. Twice we've been in a meeting with vendors from out of town who were looking out the window and actually interrupted the meeting to question if the plane was going to crash into our building lol. It is absolutely startling for those not used to the route.
