July 31, 20204 yr Thank you!! Great shots. I think that outside terrace is my favorite part of about the building.

But, thanks to your picture, I checked and confirmed online that they are still in business. (Perhaps I was thinking of some other fast casual Lebanese place?) And great pix! Thanks so much for sharing. I’m really looking forward to seeing pix from that top floor amenity level when it’s finished. July 31, 20204 yr @Boomerang_Brian Sittoos is open. Zaytoon has closed as has Puente Viejo (as far as I know) both on Huron.

July 31, 20204 yr Thanks for taking time to snap and share the pics @Ruken I am sure they are especially appreciated by out of town Clevelanders.
July 31, 20204 yr Beautiful building inside and and out. This type of design was much needed in Cleveland. PHS well done.!
July 31, 20204 yr Outstanding shots @Ruken! We could use a few more of these downtown; hopefully Lumen Part II isn't too far away!
July 31, 20204 yr I love the red accents against the black, white and gray palette. Lots of class but then again, we should expect nothing less from the PSF. Edited July 31, 20204 yr by Frmr CLEder
August 1, 20204 yr Too shiny/reflective and too much marble (or faux marble? Can't tell) for my taste, but I completely understand how others might love it. Needless to say, I'm thrilled that this got built no matter the decor. I'm all for a few more of these being built with a different interior design for each one. Then all of us will be happy at some point, lol.

August 3, 20204 yr Zaytoon has closed. They still are going to hold onto the space and possibly rebrand as something else in the future.

It's location on Huron was not. It was just a bit too far from the activity on Euclid. Sittoo's opening was the beginning of the end for Zaytoon, unfortunately. Location, location, location -- I don't see much changing here even with a new concept until that section of Huron sees more activity.

Location, location, location -- I don't see much changing here even with a new concept until that section of Huron sees more activity. It was always pretty busy during lunch (I'd walk by coming from the county building) it was just an awkward space inside- I think they should've stuck with it as a carryout and outside seating. I think part of the success of Sittoo's not necessarily because of location but more so because it's got a ton of seating and folks seem to camp out there quite a bit. Regardless, it's still a bummer and it isn't really relevant to Lumen so I'll shut up.
August 10, 20204 yr i'm so glad to see inside the lumen at last -- looks great -- thanks again rutken.
August 14, 20204 yr ^Love that shot! Please someone fill in those lots along Prospect. The street has been Ignored for too long.
August 14, 20204 yr That picture has so much color I did not realize it was Cleveland at first.... ??
August 14, 20204 yr I love this pic!!! Thats my street and neighborhood!! I love turning onto Huron either in car or walking and going under the Playhouse arch with all the trees and people. That shot of the Lumen is a game changer!!

Favorite residential street in Cleveland. Lovely in a winter storm and even prettier when the trees on the streets flowers bloom and are white. Very envious of those that live and will be living in the Lumen but happy to have them. Looking forward to the day PHS is finally open again.
August 14, 20204 yr I really like how clean the garage facade is along with the store fronts, can’t wait to see world class billboard Projected on it.
August 14, 20204 yr It does a nice job in looking like a curtain. Nice touch in fitting in with the neighborhood. As a garage facade, A+
August 22, 20204 yr Update from this evening. Looks like they almost have all of the garage "curtain" framed! Wraps it up nicely.
August 22, 20204 yr Nice shot @ASPhotoman! Can’t wait to see it with the signage and the retail in at street level.
August 23, 20204 yr This beauty looking good as more and more lights are going on in her units. Can’t wait for the bright lights of Broadway to return to Playhouse Square.
August 23, 20204 yr The vertical stripes and lighting, for some reason, give off a modernist/international vibe, like some 60s or 70s office tower...which I actually don’t mind at all on its own, but there is a contrast compared to the the Euclid and west-facing facades. "We each pay a fabulous price for our visions of paradise." - ????, ???????
September 8, 20204 yr A distance shot, to be sure, but shows how The Lumen extends the skyline as viewed from The Hingetown perspective. I’m really appreciating those sometimes debated vertical accent lines that are missing from the western side of the Lumen. Now, let’s get that beautiful Ohio Bell Building reloaded with a hotel and whatever else...,, Edited September 8, 20204 yr by CleveFan
September 17, 20204 yr I noticed this box above the entrance to the State Theater tonight... I’m going to guess this is the projector for the Lumen garage?

September 17, 20204 yr 53 out of 318 units accounted for in downtown’s new top-of-the-market luxury building after only opening in mid-July? AND in the midst of the pandemic? I’d say that’s a very strong start and gives a good sign that downtown’s residential market is still pushing forward. ?

September 19, 20204 yr It's good the PHSF has diversified their portfolio to include real estate. With the current state of the theater business (look at Broadway in NYC), that decision long ago, may have been their saving grace. Edited September 19, 20204 yr by Frmr CLEder
September 19, 20204 yr Glad we got Act 1 completed before the pandemic... hopefully PHS can recover. It’s up to the limited workers and the residents now to support the restaurants and businesses.
