Posted July 3, 20177 yr Athens promoting its own ale trail with Brewed on the Bikeway I’m sure you’ve heard of the popular Columbus Ale Trail and hey, if you’re ready for something different, you might want to head down to Athens to be one of the first people to experience a 21-mile bike trail that leads you to some of the best breweries in the state. Brewed on the Bikeway is a way you can have your cake, or in this case beer, and eat it, or drink it, too. Ever had to make that hard decision between working out and heading down to your favorite bar? Well on this bike path full of 150 to 400-foot hills, you’ll be able to work off the previous beer you had before consuming the next.
