Awesome! Thanks for sharing! Zanesville seems to have a nice mix of all eras in that area.

But this pic is my favorite, I love the midwest:

Thanks, that picture was one of my favorites too. I was walking and it just jumped out at me.

I wish I would have grown up in a place like that, it looks so safe and homey. Kids probably play ball in the street and no one locks their doors...

Not sure about the locks, but the fourth house down has a dog that scared the crap out of me!

Sweet, these are all within a few blocks of my house!! I have been inside the house in the first picture, it is amazing. Great pictures! The homes on Dresden Rd. have such a great mix of styles.

Whats with the "curbs?"

you said these are in Dresden?  Isn't Dresden kinda far away from Zanesville.  Well, I know its in the county, but its not Zanesville, its a town all its own, and not really a suburb or enveloped by suburbs in anyway, right?

Are you referring to the concrete blocks Ink? If so, that is in the ridgewood Circle are. It is just to keep people from driving on the yards, I suppose. Ridgewood was originally a subdivision, so it wasn't built the same as the other city streets. It has since been annexed, however.

Dresden Road!!!!!!!! Very much in the city of Zanesville. The village of Dresden is only about 8 minutes from the city limits though.

Do you have a job yet Y-city? Our (or at least my) mouth(s) are(/is) watering for more Zanesville pics. The ghetto pics are much anticipated also!

Wonderful!

Oh, woops.  Thanks for the correction.

Right now I am on a survey crew for a local engineering company. It has been keeping me very busy! The pictures are in the works.

^Okay, I look forward to them.

Hey, YBridge, it would be great if you would modify the title of this thread to read something like "Zanesville - Dresden Rd Residential," just so we separate if from downtown. Just click the Modify button at the top of your post.

Thanks.

GRACIAS! And keep 'em coming!

i learned something today

I sure missed a lot of these nice residential areas when I was in Zanesville.  I too notice the little concrete stops.  Must make mowing a pain in the neck

Thanks for the pics, always love to see the smaller cities.

So that's where my traffic fine is going...

^Where did you get caught?

Route 40, just east of Zanesville.

Yea, that's where the highway patrol station is. They watch that area like a hawk.
