July 18, 20177 yr Thnx MuRrAy HiLL[/member] for reminding us of this just switched it on and the show looks great. Doing a tribute to Chris Cornell right now. So glad it was moved to the State much more appropriate for an Awards show. Just think hundreds of thousands of impressions/posts about this event are going worlwide right now and for the last couple of days. Some may not understand but this is a big deal. It's only in its 4th year and still finding its way. For Cleveland's sake let's hope it's gets bigger and bigger.
January 25, 20223 yr 😒  Alternative Press is no longer a Cleveland magazine Updated: Jan. 25, 2022, 9:39 a.m. | Published: Jan. 25, 2022, 9:39 a.m.  By Troy L. Smith, Cleveland.com CLEVELAND, Ohio – Northeast Ohio has lost one of its storied entertainment and media institutions. And it happened rather quietly.  Alternative Press Magazine closed its offices at 1305 W 80th St. in Cleveland’s Gordon Square Arts District in December. The move came on the heels of the magazine being sold last fall in a very low-key transaction to MDDN LLC, the music media company launched by brothers Benji and Joel Madden, best known for their pop-punk band Good Charlotte. Details of the sale have not been made public.  California Secretary of State records show the company, Alternative Press Inc., was officially incorporated in California in December with its new headquarters listed at 4321 W Magnolia Blvd. Burbank, Calif.  https://www.cleveland.com/entertainment/2022/01/alternative-press-is-no-longer-a-cleveland-magazine.html Â
