Posted September 18, 20177 yr Cleveland's Little Italy is one of my favorite places on Earth. It's vibrant yet relaxing, cozy/human-scale, diverse (no longer just Italian), historic (good & bad), and accessible (the new train station is great). I hope these photos plus the video I included below convey what I love about this neighborhood. So my family and I started out at West 117th Red Line Station... Arriving Little Italy with my college buddy whose family lives in Berea and caught the Red Line at the new Brookpark station. But this is the new Little Italy station... Enjoying Tony Brush park before dinner at Guarino's.... Strolling up Mayfield.... And the sights and sounds of Little Italy after dinner, heading to Presti's for dessert and gelato.... Mia Bella's al fresco dining is in an alley.... Nice touch with the mandolin outside Presti's.... A VIDEO of the sights and sounds outside Presti's.... Inside Presti's.... The "new" Holy Rosary Church. The old one is on Murray Hill Road and is now an art gallery.... Goodnight from Little Italy.... September 18, 20177 yr Nice views of an interesting, big city neighborhood. This captured the amazing foot traffic between LI and Univ. Circle, which Cleveland is exhibiting in several neighborhoods outside of downtown.
September 18, 20177 yr Haha! You caught a pic of my aunt and uncle shoving their face with food Small town... :)
September 18, 20177 yr Such a lovely little urban neighborhood. I think it's my favorite neighborhood in Cleveland- at least of the ones I've been to.
September 18, 20177 yr Haha! You caught a pic of my aunt and uncle shoving their face with food Small town... :) I've heard people who relocate to Cleveland refer to Cleveland as a big small town. Or is it a small big city.
