September 20, 20177 yr This thread used to: https://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php/topic,12835.msg184449.html#msg184449 but it looks to have fallen victim to the photobucket TOS changes.
September 29, 20177 yr but it looks to have fallen victim to the photobucket TOS changes. I noticed that in a lot of threads, what exactly happened? I see you can open images in a new tab and they theoretically will be there, but some haven't worked for me and the ads on the Photobucket platform are pretty annoying. Are there any other ways to see those threads? It's a shame how many great posts have lost their images.

Photobucket changed their policies, so now threads are dead unless contributors pay for their service.
September 30, 20177 yr ^Lucky for you, Jeffrey still has most of his UO posts preserved on his Daytonology blog... you can't get rid of the Dayton Banana that easily! http://daytonology.blogspot.com/2007/10/dayton-banana.html Crazy these posts are over a decade old now. “To an Ohio resident - wherever he lives - some other part of his state seems unreal.”
September 30, 20177 yr Anyone got any photos of Huber ? I could go take a bunch of pictures for ya. I'm literally heading up there tonight. Anything in particular you'd like to see? Brandt Pike in particular was looking bleak around ~2009 but has improved significantly since then.

Indeed! Jeff was the guy that got me started on urban blogging in the first place. I was looking up history on Trotwood as a high school Freshman just over a decade ago and stumbled right onto one of his posts about the Salem Mall corridor. I hope he's doing well.
October 1, 20177 yr ^See, I'm worried that he's not. He just disappeared. I spotted him several weeks ago. He seemed to be doing fine to me. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
October 2, 20177 yr Oh, that's nice to know. There are other users that just disappeared too rather than "trailing off" like a lot of people do.
