John Glenn is actually from New Concord, Ohio, just west down the road about 8 miles or so from Cambridge. You can tour his home or visit John Glenn High School.

Delightful courthouse!

a lot more interesting than I'd imagined it to be.

Interesting Odd Fellows building. I assume the Pavlov Music Center teaches bell ringing? Is Connie's Mud Puddle a female mud-wrestling joint?

the pavlov music center is just a music store. can't help you on the mud puddle though.

they tricked me! oh, well.

Cambridge is a nice town. Also around that area is Salt Fork state park, the I-70 & I-77 interchange (once the largest interchange in the world, might still be), and Big Muskie -- one of the largest excavators around.

This one makes me want to cry.

I drove through town a year or so ago en route to Canton and Akron and was delightfully impressed, the topography of the streets is really appealing.

Hey Hey!  Some Cambridge development news!

From the latest Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credit list at https://development.ohio.gov/files/media/pressrelease/2017%200628%20Round%2018%20Ohio%20Historic%20Preservation%20Awards.pdf

Potter Davis Building (Cambridge, Guernsey County)

Total Project Cost: $3,701,572

Total Tax Credit: $713,489

Address: 710-720 Wheeling Ave., 43725

Vacant for many years, the Potter Davis building takes its name from the department stores that used the space throughout the 20th century.  This three-story building in downtown Cambridge will be renovated into offices for the county's Area Agency on Aging, relocating more than 100 employees to the building.
