Posted December 11, 20177 yr Any Dayton lifers who remember the 60s, 70s, 80s? I actually live in the Cincinnati area now, but I'm trying to remember this place my grandparents took me as a child (late 80s, early 90s). I believe it was a grocery store, but it also had a restaurant inside. The interior was something out of Willy Wonka - I remember porthole-shaped windows and quirky, 60s-looking décor. I believe it was in the Moraine area and closed long ago. I think the restaurant might have been kind of upstairs? And the grocery part downstairs. If anyone could help me with a name or pictures, I would LOVE it. I was trying to describe this place to my bf one evening and words were failing me. Nicole

December 13, 20177 yr I loved eating at Woody's as a kid! They had a giant scale to weigh yourself before and after your meal. "It's just fate, as usual, keeping its bargain and screwing us in the fine print..." - John Crichton
