We have a pretty decent skyline! Hopefully we start to fill in some of the gaps in the next few years.

Indeed! That's not even the whole skyline! There's still the River South portion 😉

Here you go 😆

Unrelated to Merchant Tower, but I recently came across this skyline picture and we don't see it from this vantage point very often. Several of the larger buildings over by Nationwide/William Green/Plaza 3/Encova etc.... missing of course, but still a cool/different view.

Which is why my favorite views of the city will always be from I-70 WB before Kelton/Miller and then at the Downtown Exit by Children's Hospital

Anyone have a guess of when the crane will grow taller?

I really hope that in a few years, the crappy 1 story gets replaced with some type of historic styled 3-4 story new build.

Theres not much hope for that to be honest. Agave and Rye bought that building for 1.4 million to open the restaurant and as far as I can tell, its a successful business model for them. I don't foresee them getting in to the development game unless the business tanks.

Obviously they can change it to another restaurant, but there has to be a timeline for overpriced Mexican food right??

Looks like it must be soon based on the height of the cores. I've been watching on my way into downtown each morning to see if anything is set up for the jump, but I haven't seen any indication yet.

I could see the Agave & Rye site possibly becoming a boutique style hotel at some point. The lot is pretty small to hold a large hotel.
