Posted January 25, 20196 yr Banksy may have left his mark in a Cincinnati museum International art prankster Banksy may have pulled a stunt at a Cincinnati museum, WLWT reports. On Dec. 5, a small painting of a half-peeled banana was hung on the walls of the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center without permission. The painting was placed while a security guard gave a group a brief tour of the museum. It hung for several minutes in the “Mamma Andersson: Memory Banks” exhibit before it was discovered and removed. CAC communications director Joshua Mattie said the painting was processed by security and placed in the lost and found, where it’s still waiting to be released to its original owner when he or she provides proof.
