We will lose the "dark theme" until it's updated for 4.4, but that should be it.

Well, that answered my first question upon opening up this morning and receiving a radiation burn from the brightness.

Thanks for the info

Hopefully the dark theme will be updated soon and we'll bring it back.

Cool. I'll just wear my tinted glasses while at work until then. ?

I keep getting a 502 nginx error if I leave the page alone for a while and come back and try to refresh. It usually comes up if i refresh several times. Never had that issue before the update.

Also marking all posts as read no longer auto-refreshes the activity feed. It already took too many clicks before the upgrade to 4.4  -- (1) three line submenu, (2) mark as read, (3) confirm. Now I have to refresh the page (4). Compared to the pre-invision software that let you mark all as read with a single click.

This is on mobile, Samsung browser 8.2.01.2

I was working on an error the admins were getting and it caused the 502 error.  It has been fixed.

The auto refresh on the activity feed may be a bug associated with 4.4.  I will submit a bug report.

Where do we go to turn that back on?

At the bottom of the forum select it from the theme tab.

Thank you very much

Cool theme thanks. The gray text on the dark gray background is a bit hard to read though.

Ha, the new background is all like, "Nintendo, Atari, Sega's my Ferrari"

I like the idea of everyone having several options, so I’ll most likely add a few more theme options in addition to the two we have now . The only downside is that new themes cost $$.  Not a huge issue, just something to be mindful of.

Ah, that's better. Using Stylebot I updated the message text to a slightly lighter color and larger font (16 vs 14). Doesn't help mobile though. ?

Forum agonizingly slow now though. Feels like it's using tons of PC resources.

I think it was embedded Tweets that were slowing my computer down at that time. Not sure how big I am on embedded Tweets.

They really seem to drag things down.  Some people really spam them on the Current Events threads, too.

"Some" people...

Thank you. I like the original better. The subliminal graphics in the other dark theme were making me think crazy anti-transportation and pro-urban sprawl thoughts

Is there a way to disable the embedded twitter posts, like make them a link instead?

Not at this time.  I'll keep an eye out and will let you know if that feature becomes an option in the future.

I've recently been having problems with this sidebar in the dark theme. Is there any possible way to rid of it?

It should be fixed now.

Thank you sir!

In addition to the outlines of the retro systems in the background of the dark theme, I notice now that the font is the same used on Atari 7800 games:

What's up with the white highlighted moderator posts?  The don't work very well with the dark theme- hard on the eyes!

I changed it back.

Thanks!  I also noticed that the "dark 2" theme was added back to the options- I think it's a way better take on a dark theme than "dark-dark", so was happy to see that.
