On the west side of Hamilton, the New London Road area holds some of the most impressive homes and three beautiful parks. As far as older homes go, Oak Park and Forest Hills take the cake. Both these 1930/40's subdivisions were developed by Ellis Potter, a New York businessman who grew up in Hamilton. Before developing the land, he donated extensive acerage for Hamilton's first municipal golf course, Potter's Park, which opened in 1927. Forest Hills abuts and overlooks the course's greens.

To start, Forest Hills:

Nice tour!  A few of those seem to have a bit of an Oakwood/western Kettering look to them.

By the way, I love the shot with half a head in it!

By the way, I love the shot with half a head in it!

It took me 4 times of scanning to see what you meant, I thought you were losing your mind. I removed the pic with the jogger, it was rather gross once I caught it.

There's some nice ass houses in that tour :) Thanks.

I would LOVE to list any of these homes, but they don't come up for sale very often.  Nice shots.

Hamiltucky

I make nearly 10 threads, all of which in hopes to undo the stereotypes that have have held Hamilton back for years, and there it is again, right in my face.

^Haha I just did that to get a reaction out of you. I had this crazy friend from Hamilton and everywhere we'd go they'd ask where we were from and he'd say he was from Hamilton and everyone would say "Hamiltucky!?" lol I've driven past the mansions in the "Historic district" or whatever it's called, it is nice. However, F street where he lived was not.

^Well...whatever. It will never die. Maybe one day I'll show you F street.

nice tour, once again.  I've heard "hamiltucky" "middletucky" "brunstucky" (brunswick around cleveland) so I dont think the ripping of the state of kentucky is directed solely at hamilton.

bah
